Rome’s Navona Suite Hotel was ideally located to explore the city’s many attractions and restaurants.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet and breakfast was a highlight.
What: Room 9, a Queen Suite at Navona Suites Hotel, a bed and breakfast establishment in Rome.
Who: Jo and Norm
Why: On holidays. Accommodation purchased via the hotel’s website.
When: October 26 and 27 2013.
How did it rate?
Very quiet, despite the hotel’s location in the heart of Rome.
The views from our room to the Tower of Orologio and Oratory dei Filippini.
A wonderful breakfast which was included in the rate and included a large selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cold meats, cheeses and juices.
Very comfortable queen size bed although, like many of the hotels we stayed in during our stay in Italy, there was a waterproof protector under the mattress (which we assumed was to protect beds from bed bugs) which made the bed very hot.
All major Rome attractions easily accessed from the hotel either on foot, by taxi or public transport.
The hotel was close to a number of excellent restaurants and there were also a couple of small supermarkets in easy walking distance.
Although the hotel’s website advertises both baths and showers in the bathrooms we only had a shower. But it was a large and very nice bathroom.
Website stated there were kettles in the room but we didn’t have one.
