Attraction: Ice Age at the Melbourne Aquarium

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s latest attraction, Ice Age: No Time for Nuts 4D, has much to attract visitors of all ages.

The nine minute show features numerous special effects which make you feel part of the action. The film is also humorous (given the laughs, youngsters would probably say very funny) as Scrat, Ice Age’s resident nut-crazed sabre-toothed squirrel, battles a wonky time-machine that has zapped his beloved nut. He appears in a number of countries in several dangerous situations.

The technology behind the film is as impressive as the show itself. The screen is 278 inches, the speakers are the same used by rock band Metallica on tour, there are 12 fans and five snow machines and each chair has its own vibrating unit known as `a butt kicker’.
