Finding Dory Experience at SEA LIFE Melbourne

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s latest attraction ‘Finding Dory and Friends: The Experience!’ seems certain to be a hit with youngsters.

During the official launch children were happily pointing, pushing and running around the exhibition, branded the first of its kind in the world. A return visit with a nine year old also proved a hit.

Created with Disney•Pixar, the interactive exhibition features moments from the box-office smash hit movie, Finding Dory.

Activities include Ridin’ the EAC, where families can help their own paper turtle fly around the exhibit and race their friends back to the reef.  This activity proved particularly popular with the nine year old although watching the Ice Age: No Time For Nuts 4-D movie is still his favourite aquarium experience!

Nemo’s Anemone Challenge sees kids race through an anemone and build up their resistance, just like clownfish in the wild.

At Bailey’s Maze youngsters can help their friends through the maze using a network of communication pipes. Then there’s a new Coral Reef exhibit, home to schools of Blue Tangs (Dory) and Clownfish (Nemo).

According to the aquarium every interactive experience is designed to educate visitors about Dory and her friends and discover ways they can help preserve reefs and coastlines for the future.  For youngsters the exhibition also seems to be great fun!
