Maggie Walsh is an experienced journalist and travel writer who resides in both Victoria and Queensland at different times of the year!  Maggie has worked in metropolitan daily journalism, tourism, marketing, public relations and academia over her career. She has taught writing skills to university students from undergraduate to postgraduate level, and has run workshops for aspiring writers in the industry. Maggie is co-author of a chapter titled Writing for the New Media in Travel Writing and Photography – From Dreams to Reality (2010). Maggie has travelled to six of our seven continents, and has visited every state in Australia travelling by both air and road. Articles and photographs about Maggie’s latest travels will appear from time to time.

Peter Dewar switched a successful business career for writing and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Communication.  He lives in Melbourne’s West, currently contributes to Maribyrnong News and has written articles for Japan in Melbourne; Victoria University’s Rotunda in the West; and Around Williamstown.  Peter believes family life is enriched by visiting exciting places and encountering different cultures.  He enjoys writing about his more memorable travel experiences in Africa, South America, East Asia and Sri Lanka.
